Spring is often mistaken for colour.
In this episode, I return to a drawing made in 2019, a seagull walking across an ordinary park in Burnaby. At the time, I believed I was capturing movement and freedom.

Not every artwork is meant to bloom immediately. Some remain in the archive until the season is right. Some require distance before direction becomes visible.
This episode reflects on the difference between drawing and building, and how a single sketch can evolve from observation into structure.
The artwork featured in this episode stays on screen as you listen — a quiet gallery moment.
This is a reflection on maturity, surfaces, and the discipline of carrying the right work forward.
